Rich chocolate, creamy caramel and nutty peanut butter all come together to make these quick and easy Gluten Free Chocolate Cheerios Candy Bars!

Growing up one of my favorite cereals was Cheerios. Every morning my sister and I would eat a bowl for breakfast, and then in the afternoon we would create a snack with them. At that time there were only two flavors, Original and Honey Nut, but today there are all sorts of flavors – and that means there are all sorts of tasty treats you can make! One of my favorite flavors is the Chocolate Cheerios, and while they taste awesome in a bowl of milk, they taste even better in this gluten free Chocolate Cheerios Candy Bars recipe!

  • Next, add the Chocolate Cheerios and the peanuts; stirring until completely combined. Then spread the mixture into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. pan; set aside.
  • In a second microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips, butter and remaining peanut butter on high for 25 to 50 seconds, then stir until smooth.
  • Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the cereal mixture, then place in the refrigerater for at least 20 minutes or until cool before cutting.
