Ohh, I don't think it is good to spy your kids! In this way, you'll just lose a link, I mean relationships with your kids. They will just think that you do not trust them. I use a parental control app, but only to set time limits and block adult content. Not more! I'm sure that kids hate when you monitor every activity they do. Just try to recall that our parents didn't monitor our activities and it was ok)

I totally agree, you don't want to invade every inch of their space and watch every little thing they do! This particular parental control app lets you monitor the sites they go on, see how much time they are spending online, block adult content and even set time limits. I could see how in some very rare cases, a parent may need to use it's other options - such as the GPS to see where their teen really is, but other than that, I agree about not using these type of apps to spy!

Thanks for your forum! I found it really helpful. As a mom, I'm also constantly on the lookout for educational tools that help my 8 year old learn math better, as she struggles most with that subject. She takes well to the iPad though, as with most kids! :)
