If you have a collection, it might currently be hidden away in a room in your home. Perhaps you even keep your collection in a storage unit because there’s no place for it in your home. You don’t want items that will stick out too much or overwhelm the rest of the design. Think about things you can group together, too. You might be able to put them next to each other or even put part of your collection in a display cabinet.

If you want to display some of your collection, think about how to present your items. Chances are, you don’t just want to put them on a table or pin them to a wall. There are some ways you can make them look more like art. For example, the right frame can turn a poster into a piece of art. You might be thinking about using as much of your collection as possible to decorate your home. However, the danger is that there could be too much clutter. You don’t want to cover every available surface. You also might be concerned about keeping everything in good condition. The answer to this is to use the vertical space you have as much as possible. Use hooks to hang things on walls wherever you have space. Just be careful not to cover everything entirely, or it could all be too much.

Your collection might look quirky, but it shouldn’t look odd among your other things. If you want to display it, think about how it will look in the rest of your home.
