There are several things I look for in a laundry product brand: how well the product works and how affordable it is. That’s why I always find myself using Purex. Not only do they have a large selection of products that really work, but they are very reasonably priced.

As soon as I opened the box, I could smell their delightful floral scent. I couldn’t wait to give them a try, and it just so happened I had a load ready to go! Once washed, I put the clothes in the dryer, added one sheet and turned it on. Forty-five minutes later, once the dryer had finished its cycle, I opened the door and I could still smell the floral freshness. There was just the right amount of scent, not too strong at all. As I folded each piece of laundry, I was pleased to see absolutely no cat hair or lint, and there was absolutely no static cling! Not even my socks!

Does the scent really last 30 days? I am not sure, but I can tell you that every time I open my closet door, I can still smell the pleasant lavender scent and it has been a week since I did that load. I will however come back in three weeks and give you an update!

Will I use these sheets again? You bet! In fact, instead of throwing away the used dryer sheets, I always use them again around the house for several different things. 10 Uses for Used Dryer Sheets:

1. To help keep dust and other contaminants out of your house, place a used sheet inside every furnace/AC register in your house. Make sure it covers the openings and be sure to replace once they are dirty. It also makes your house smell great!

2. You can keep your window blinds clean longer by wiping them periodically with used dryer sheets. Also use them to gently dust keyboards, screens, wood furniture and more. Their anti-static properties actually help to repel dust and dirt. Be gentle on delicate surfaces. 

3. If your scissors dull and no longer cut smoothly, wipe the blades clean with a used dryer sheet.

4. Use them to freshen up places that smell unpleasant such as inside the dirty clothes hamper, under your trash bags in the garbage cans, inside smelly shoes, even in your car to add a bit a freshness! You can also stick one inside your vacuum bag and it will freshen as you clean.

5. If your hair is dry and full of static electricity, gently wipe a used dryer sheet over your head to get rid of it.

6. Use them to polish the chrome on your car and also to remove those icky dead bugs. Simply wet your car down, and use a dryer sheet to scrub away carnage with ease

7. They are great at removing soap scum in showers, tubs and sinks!

8.  Hang some sheets from your deck, porch, patio to help eliminate mosquitoes while you are outside. 

9. If you sew or do needlepoint, use a dryer sheet to keep your thread from becoming tangled. Just run the thread across a dryer sheet and no more worrying about those frustrating knots and tangles.

10. Stick a dryer sheet inside a toilet paper roll, and each time you spin, it will release a bit of freshness into the air.
