Space Savers: My Peace-of-Mind Saver!

I am one of those people who absolutely love her kitchen. I love to have every kitchen gadget, utensil and tool that I think I might ever possibly have a use for.  I also love to cook and bake and that means I have a huge collection of spices and seasonings, which causes a slight problem being that I live in an apartment.

I do not have the counter space and cabinet space I would like have, so therefore, my storage options are getting slim!  Thankfully, I have found help in one awesome site, aptly named, Space Savers!

The site itself is extremely well organized where you can search for items by room and find all sorts of tips and suggestions to help with storage and organizational issues. Their prices are very affordable, and the products well made.

Stainless Steel Double Turntable Product Review

Since I need help with storage in my kitchen, I chose to sample and review a Stainless-Steel Double Turntable which is made by Dial Industries. This modern-looking, stainless steel Lazy Susan is just what I needed!  It stands about 6” high and has two platforms, each of which measure approximately 10 3/4″” in diameter with a 5” space between the two.

There is plenty of room for spice bottles on the bottom and an assortment of items on the top, and the whole thing takes up very little space.  It sits on ball bearings which allows the entire unit to rotate, making finding what you need simple!

It does come unassembled, but was very easy to put together, taking maybe all of 5 minutes. The only tool needed was a screwdriver.  Once I had it together, I was very pleased with the size and sturdiness.  It is quite light, but has no-slip grips on the bottom to keep it from sliding around or scratching surfaces.

I have seen many people use these on their tables to hold common spices and herbs, and sugar and cream bowls on the bottom, then salt and pepper shakers with a napkin holder on top. I chose to use it as additional storage space for all of my often-used spices and herbs. I was surprised at how many fit on it, freeing up some additional, much needed cabinet space!

It sells for $13.99 which is well worth the peace of mind it gives knowing your cabinets are less cluttered and items are easier to find.  This is just one of tons of helpful items you will find on Space Savers.
