Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups Tyson Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 package 8 oz fettuccine pasta cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper or to taste

Instructions

  • Begin by preparing the fettuccini noodles, following the instructions on the box. While the noodles are cooking, go ahead and prepare the sauce and the chicken following the instructions below.
  • FOR THE CHICKEN
Add the olive oil to a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and allow to warm for 6 -7 minutes.
  • FOR THE SAUCE
In a medium saucepan add the butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat, whisking until melted.
  • Next, stir in the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth
  • Add the grated parmesan cheese, mixing well
  • Stir in the fresh parsley.
  • Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it starts to thicken.
  • By now, the noodles should be finished cooking. If there is still a few more minutes to go, reduce the heat to low, and whisk occasionally. Once the noodles are cooked, drain, add them to the alfredo sauce and toss to coat.
  • Next, add in the warmed Tyson Grilled and Ready® Chicken® Breast Strips. Stir it all up, then sprinkle a bit of chopped, fresh parsley on top.
  • Serve the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo in bowls or on a plate. Garnish with a sprinkle grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
