Sausage, Egg and Herbed Cheese Breakfast Muffins
These Sausage, Egg and Herbed Cheese Breakfast Muffins are as easy to make as they are delicious! Together, the seasoned sausage, fluffy eggs flavored with cheddar, rosemary, sage and thyme, and buttery biscuits, create a flavor combination that's hard to beat!
Servings 8 Breakfast Muffins
- 1 package (8 patties) Jimmy Dean® Fully Cooked Pork Sausage Patties quartered
- 1 package (8 biscuits) Refrigerated biscuits cut in half
- 4 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Rosemary
- 1/2 tsp Thyme
- 1/2 tsp Sage
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
Spray one 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick baking spray.
Place one half of a biscuit in each muffin tin and gently press to the bottom and up along the sides, making a cup.
Remove the Jimmy Dean® Fully Cooked Pork Sausage Patties from the packaging, then slice each patty into quarters. No need to cook them first because they're already fully cooked!
Place a quarter of a sausage patty into each cup on top of the biscuit.
In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cheese, salt, pepper, and herbs.
Add about 1/8 cup of the egg mixture on top of the sausage in each cup.
Top with a little extra cheese, then place in the oven and bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes, or until the egg is completely cooked.
Remove from the oven, serve warm and enjoy!
