Salt needs to be taken for basic taste. Sodium intake must be controlled.

Managing stress

Stress is the mother of all diseases. It can damage your heart, affecting the heartbeat rate and causing heart disease. Life is busy and complicated. You need ‘me time’ to release your daily stress levels. Every person has his own way of releasing stress. But doing so is a must. Deep breathing during work hours at suited intervals can do wonders.

Abstain from Excess Alcohol

Alcohol is a silent killer. You will feel that a few drinks every day are good. But do you know if your heart can take that? Drinking is to be limited. Your heart is your machinery. Discipline yourself, get regular checks by the doctor; are you fit to take alcohol? You need to be careful about the intake of alcohol where the heart functioning is concerned.
