Motivation to Lose The Weight!

One of the most necessary parts of being on a diet…the scale.  Oh how I dread going in the restroom and stepping on that scale to see what my latest weight may be.  It can be so discouraging to see those 3 numbers staring up at me every day, blinking with depressing certainty, doing much to drag my self-esteem and motivation way down.  It is almost enough to make me not even want to step on it some days!

Then I heard about a completely different type of scale, one that does not even tell me my actual weight, but instead, tells me how many pounds I have either gained or, hopefully, lost; and that can be a powerful motivator!  It is called the Quantum Scale.

A Modern Design, Sleek and Very Slim

The Quantum Scale was created by Susan Taylor as a more positive way for people on a diet to continue to lose weight.  Instead of looking at how much you weigh, which can be very negative for someone’s self-esteem, it instead focuses on the actual number of pounds that are being lost, serving as positive reinforcement.
The Quantum Scale is a very modern-looking scale, sleek and slim in design.  It has a glass platform with a large digital readout, and a maximum capacity of 333lbs.
In order to turn it on, all you have to do is give it a tap, then it will automatically cut itself off after you weigh. The scale itself weighs only 4 pounds and is 12” x 12” taking up very little floor space. It takes one Lithium battery and is extremely easy to program.
Once you insert the battery, you use the switch found next to the battery compartment to choose either pounds or kilograms.  After choosing, place the scale on a hard, flat surface and tap it to turn it on.  Once you see four bars or dashes appear in the display, press the ‘program’ button on the top left side of the scale. ‘PRO’ will appear followed by ‘0.0’.
Once you see this, stand squarely on the scale until ‘OK’ shows in the bottom right-hand corner of the display.  It is now programmed with your weight, but it will not show you the numbers.  Instead, each day you weigh, it will either show you how much weight you have gained or how much you have lost.
It Has a Large, Easy-To-Read Display

I have been using it for well over a month now, and I love it.  There is something much more encouraging about stepping on the scale and seeing the number of pounds lost instead of your actual weight.  It motivates me to continue trying to lose the weight without my getting stuck on the actual number of pounds I weigh.

At first, I was worried since the scale has a glass platform, but it is extremely sturdy, and not slippery at all.  I love the sleek, slim modern design, and the display is large enough to read easily.  I definitely recommend the Quantum Scale to anyone wanting to manage your diet.

The Quantum Scale can be purchased through the online website HERE, as well as at other online stores such as E-Bay, Amazon, Nextag and more. It is available is a variety of pretty colors including white, blue, green, orange, pink and black.  It costs $59.99 and comes with a 1-year warranty.  Well worth the cost for someone who is trying to lose the weight!
