It’s hard to believe how fast our children grow up. Already Aniyah is ready for her first time on a big girl bike! Learning how to ride a bike is a like a child’s first rite of passage, plus a skill that will never be forgotten. With Wipeout Dry Erase Protective Gear, I know she’ll be safe and have fun doing so! And speaking of safety, with May being National Bike Safety Month, there’s no better time than now to go over bike safety with her, too.
Bike Safety Can Be Fun
Did you know that people who wear a helmet when riding a bike reduce their risk of head injury by an estimated 60% and brain injury by 58%?! That’s why everyone who rides a bike should wear a helmet. When we were looking for helmets for Aniyah, we were introduced to Wipeout Dry Erase Protective Gear which makes bike safety fun for kids!
Wipeout Gear is made by Triple Eight, who has been a leading producer of action sports protective gear since 1995 — they’re a company known for safety and one that parents can trust. Aside from how cool the Wipeout helmet and other gear looks, it is certified for safety protection with ABS hard-shell construction and EPS liners for durability.
While parents will love the safety Wipeout Gear provides, kids will love that they can completely customize their Wipeout Helmet and Pads with their very own artwork using the included dry erase markers and stencils!
It’s the perfect helmet for Aniyah who loves to draw and doodle – she can showcase her talent for art as well as riding safely on her bike. And when she gets bored with one design, she can simply erase it and draw another.
We had so much fun checking out these step-by-step photo and video tutorials for the Wipeout gear. We were even able to click and print up several designs to use as additional stencils!
Wipeout Gear
Aniyah actually wants to put on her new helmet and protective pads, and that means I no longer have to tell her “either wear it or no riding”.
The Wipeout Dry Erase Helmet package includes a Dry Erase Helmet, 5 Dry Erase markers in assorted neon colors and 8 stencil designs. Oh yeah, we can’t forget her Pink Wipeout Dry Erase Protective 3-Pack which includes the knee pads, wrist guards, elbow pads, and 2 markers.
Wipeout Gear is certified safety protection that can be used for any roller sports, including biking, skateboarding, roller-skating, and scooters – for kids ages 3 to 14. Helmet sizes include 3+ (47-49 cm), 5+ (49-52 cm) and 8+ (52-56 cm). Plus the pads and helmets come in a variety of fun colors including Black, Teal, Neon Pink and Zest (a neon yellow-green), and more. It is a cool way to encourage kids to wear their safety gear while enjoying outdoor fun.
Find Wipeout Gear at Toys R Us, Target, Academy, Scheel’s, Amazon (affiliate link) and other leading retailers. And be sure to visit Wipeout on Facebook –Twitter –Instagram.
We all need to remember bike safety is important and to talk to our children about it. For more info on National Bike Safety Month, please go to https://bikeleague.org/bikemonth.

Kids are really growing up so fast. Yes, learning how to ride a bike will be quite exciting for them. With some protective gears and someone to go biking with them too

This is definitely going to make kids wear protective gear more, especially since they designed it themselves. Love that they can change it any time they want.

These are so cute! My son is eight and he still can not bike properly. There's just not enough places in our area where kids can ride bikes without the risk of getting ran over by a car!

I got these wipeout dry erase protective gear for my nephew on his birthday a few months back. He totally loved it and soon enough all his friends had the same protective gear. I like that they can erase their "art work and replace it with a new design.
