I am always on the hunt for easy recipes – especially during the school year and around the holidays. And while I love many breakfast foods, they’re often not the quickest or easiest to put together. That’s why I’m super excited to share this Sausage, Egg and Herbed Cheese Biscuit Muffins Recipe!

These Sausage, Egg and Herbed Cheese Breakfast Muffins are as easy to make as they are delicious! Together, the perfectly seasoned sausage, fluffy eggs flavored with cheddar, rosemary, sage and thyme, and buttery biscuits are a flavor combination that's hard to beat!

Made with Jimmy Dean® Fully Cooked Pork Sausage Patties, these breakfast muffins are as easy to make as they are delicious! With buttery, flaky biscuits, perfectly seasoned sausage, and eggs combined with cheddar cheese and herbs, it’s a flavor combination that’s hard to beat! Sausage, Egg and Herbed Cheese Breakfast Muffins

Ingredients

1 package (8 patties) of Jimmy Dean® Fully Cooked Pork Sausage Patties, quartered
1 package (8 biscuits) refrigerated biscuits, cut in half
4 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp each rosemary, sage, thyme

Instructions

Begin by preheating the oven to 400 degrees, then spray one 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick baking spray.
Next, place one half of a biscuit in each muffin tin and gently press to the bottom and up along the sides, making a cup.

Here’s the best part, making the sausage! Because we are using Jimmy Dean® Fully Cooked Pork Sausage Patties, all you have to do is remove them from the packaging, then slice each patty into quarters. No having to cook them first because they are already fully cooked! Love it!

Now, place a quarter of a sausage patty into each cup on top of the biscuit.

Next, in a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cheese, salt, pepper, and herbs.

Then add about 1/8 cup of the egg mixture on top of the sausage in each cup.

Next, top each sausage piece with the egg mixture, then place in oven to bake to make Sausage, Egg and Herbed Cheese Breakfast Muffins

Now top with a little extra cheese, then place in the oven and bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes, or until the egg is completely cooked.

Remove Sausage, Egg and Herbed Cheese Breakfast Muffins from oven and serve warm

Once finished baking, remove from the oven, serve warm and enjoy!
