Many of you know I often write reviews for my favorite online store for discounted office supplies, Shoplet.com. Each month they offer to send some of their products in exchange for my honest opinion, and so far I have been quite impressed, not only with the products, but with their prices as well. This month they sent some unique products from my favorite marker brand, Sharpie, some of which I didn’t even know they made!

I love pens. I don’t know why, but I have always enjoyed using pens that write well and feel comfortable. The Sharpie Premium Pen is well on its way to becoming one of my favorites with its ability to provide an incredibly smooth, high-quality writing experience thanks to its comfortable weight and its sleek Stainless Steel case. It’s fine point enables me to write clearly and concisely without any skipping like I often experience with other marker pens. The black ink dries quickly so I don’t have to worry about the ink smearing or smudging, or bleeding through the paper. I love that it looks,feels and performs just like one of those very expensive pens for a quarter of the price. Best of all, the pen is refillable!
Sharpie Neon Permanent Markers $8.94 per pack of 5
This set of Sharpie Neon Permanent Markers comes in five fun, bold and bright colors that show up vividly during the day, and will even fluoresce under a black light! Their ink will permanently mark a variety of surfaces including glass, plastic, metal, paper and wood; plus it is water, smear and fade resistant making these markers ideal for crafts and art projects. I especially like that the ink is certified AP non-toxic, and does not have that strong chemical smell that many permanent markers have. The fine point tips make it easy to produce bold lines or intricate details, and they write smoothly without skipping or bleeding through the paper. Last, but not least are these Sharpie Metallic Permanent Markers in gold and silver. These markers actually remind me of the paint pens I used as a child, except you do not have to shake them in order to keep the colors mixed and flowing. Plus, the ink doesn’t pour out like the paint pens will, nor does it have that strong chemical smell. They work great on both light or dark paper, and the ink actually has a true metallic sheen. These markers will also permanently mark on a variety of materials such as glass, metal, photos, foils and coated papers, and the ink is quick-drying, fade-resistant, water-resistant and certified AP nontoxic. Their fine points makes writing letters or filling in small details much easier than markers with medium points. Plus these markers write very smoothly without bleeding through the paper. I have tons of projects in mind for which I can use these markers, especially for Christmas next year!
My Verdict
All in all I was very pleased with all of the products! As usual, Sharpie lives up to its high quality, dependable reputation! All products are available directly through Shoplet.com.
