Thanksgiving is a time to remember everything for which we are thankful, and a time to get together with family and friends. It is also a time where we cook, and eat, a lot of food. Cooking and baking can be such a joy, especially when everyone enjoys your food, but after everyone is full and the table has been cleared, what do you do with all of those leftovers? Make Leftover Turkey Tetrazzini of course! It’s turkey goes Italian! Enjoy!

Thanksgiving Leftover Turkey Tetrazzini

This tasty Turkey Tetrazzini is the perfect way to enjoy those Thanksgiving leftovers. With minimum time and effort, you can have a delicious and filling dinner on the table in no time at all.

Total Time 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 package thin spaghetti 7 or 8 ounces
  • 3 cups of leftover turkey, cubed
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 medium-sized white onion
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 10 3/4 ounce can of Cream of Mushroom Soup, condensed, undiluted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil the spaghetti.
  2. Once cooked, drain and place in a greased 11" by 7" baking dish, topping with the turkey then setting aside.
  3. While spaghetti is cooking, cube the leftover turkey, slice the onion and mushrooms.
  4. In a large skillet, saute the mushrooms and onion in the butter until tender.
  5. Whisk in the milk, cream of mushroom soup, poultry seasoning and ground mustard until completely blended.
  6. Stir in cheddar cheese, cooking and stirring over medium heat until it is completed melted.
  7. Pour over the noodles and turkey.
  8. Sprinkle with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.
