Sunburns are among the most common injuries that people face in the summertime. It is best to always apply sunscreen every day, even if not a lot of sun exposure is expected to happen.

Baking soda
Baking soda it usually an item only found in the kitchen, but it can have a lot of use in the bathroom as well. Most commonly, people will use baking soda in the summertime to fight foot odors. Sprinkling a little in a person’s shoes or soaking their feet in a bath of it mixed with warm water can help eliminate foot odor.

Allergies are most commonly an issue for people during the hot and windy days of summer. It is easy for bad allergy symptoms to completely ruin a great day outside for anyone. Running through the trees, riding bikes, or playing on the beach all sound like great family activities to do in the summer. However, these activities do come with the risk of cuts and scrapes from things like trees, rocks and falls. Parents can be prepared with a wide variety of bandages in their medicine cabinet that will help protect an open wound and allow kids to keep playing all summer long without an infection.

As was mentioned before, outdoor fun does come with some risks. Along with cuts and scrapes, some people may find themselves with a splinter from a tree or a tick lodged in their hair.
