The Miracle Fold: Folding Laundry Has Never Been Easier!

Love it? Pls Share it!

TheMiracleFold

Those of you who are familiar with me know that one of my biggest pet peeves is doing the laundry, especially since it is so time-consuming and expensive.  Thankfully, I have been able to share with you several wonderful products that cut down on the amount of time and money you spend when it comes to the actual washing and drying of your clothes, but that still leaves what in my opinion is the worst part, the folding!  It can take just as long as the washing and drying, if not longer!

And when it comes to my folding technique, lets just say I need a miracle! Even my husband will agree with that!  He is one of those people who have to have everything just right, and believes the way he was taught to fold laundry is the best, and only, way there is.  When we do laundry together, he winds up unfolding what I have already folded, and re-doing it his way, griping the entire time about how my way is wrong.

Now, thanks to this innovative new product I had the opportunity to try, he no longer has anything to gripe about. In fact, now it’s my turn to gripe about his folding methods, and to teach him the best way to do it with our new Miracle Fold!

The Miracle Fold is similar to those devices you may have seen salespeople in stores using to fold shirts perfectly. When it first arrived, I must admit I was quite skeptical about how a folding piece of plastic could make folding the laundry any easier, faster or neater, but it did!

The Miracle Fold consists of three sections of brightly colored, durable plastic that fold inward and upward. It has a non-slip rubber strip on the back to keep it from sliding around while in use, and it comes with a very handy hook from which to hang it when it’s not in use.

The Miracle Fold’s compact design, along with the ability to hang it up, really helps to save on space, especially if you have a small laundry closet as I do.

The Miracle Fold is ideal for folding any type of shirt, including long sleeve and short sleeve, collared, button-up, tank tops and t-shirts. You can also use it for sweaters, shorts, pants, towels and pillow cases.  It is extremely easy to use, and gets the job done quickly in just a few simple steps.

First you open it all the way and place on it a flat surface with the anti-slip rubber on the bottom. Open and place your garment face down on the Miracle Fold with the top of the garment aligned with the top edge of the Miracle Fold.

Next, fold the bottom of the garment so it is aligned with the bottom edge of the Miracle Fold.  If folding a long-sleeved item, fold the sleeves from the elbow down inward towards the middle of the shirt (kind of like you holding your arms out to the sides and bending them from the elbows in towards your chest).

Using the hand slot on panel one (the left panel), lift the panel and fold it to the center then open it back up.

Now do the same with panel 2, folding it in the opening it back up. If needed, repeat these two steps until sleeves are folded completely in.

Finally, lift the bottom center panel and fold it to the top center panel, then open it back up.

Voila!  A perfectly folded shirt!

You do the same for towels, sweaters, hoodies, and whatever else you need to fold.  The entire folding process took maybe 6 to 10 seconds per item.

See how well this stack of shirts is folded compared to the stack folded without the Miracle Fold?  The Miracle Fold stack is flatter, more even and takes up less room in a drawer or on a shelf than the other stack!  Plus, it took a third of the time to fold!

My Verdict

The Miracle Fold is really living up to its name in my home.  Laundry time has been cut almost in half, and I no longer leave items in the dryer for as long as possible to avoid having to fold.  Where it used to be that I could barely open our dresser drawers, now there is plenty of space!   Our closet (my next organizing project) is slowly and surely on its way to being neat and organized!   I cannot believe I am about to say this, but it actually makes folding the laundry fun!  But don’t tell my husband I said that!

You can get your very own Miracle Fold for only $24.99 through Amazon.com. It comes in two bright and cheerful colors, orange and blue, and is well worth every penny when you see how easy and fast folding laundry can be. So what are you waiting for? This is one item you will not regret having in your home!

I used to despise folding laundry, especially t-shirts, but now using the Miracle Fold I don’t even consider it a chore!  Now if only there was an easier way to fold queen-size fitted bed sheets!  What is your least favorite item of laundry to fold?

I used one of these years ago, but when we moved from OKC to UT., I couldn't find one anywhere. I finally found one on QVC that was affordable and now my laundry takes no time at all. And my 20 year old daughter now folds her laundry instead of getting her clean clothes out of the chair I just bought her. (Ugh)!

I should get my daughter one of these for Christmas, her and her boyfriend but stink at folding.

Strange as it may sound I don't mind doing laundry, but I do hate the folding part. I need this in my life!
