4th of July Pretzel Hugs Instructions

Step One: Prep
- Begin by preheating your oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
Step Two: Space Out Pretzels
- Place the pretzels on the cookie sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
Step Three: Add Hershey’s Hugs
- Now top each pretzel with a Hershey’s Hug candy.
Step Four: Bake
- Place the pretzels in the preheated oven and bake for just 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the pretzel hugs from the oven once the candies are soft and slightly shiny. Remember, you want to soften the candy, not melt it completely.
- Allow the pretzel hugs to cool on the baking sheet for about 2 minutes.
Step Five: Add M&Ms
- Gently press one M&M into the center of each softened candy. This will make the Hershey’s Hug spread over each pretzel.
Step Six: Allow to Set
- Finally, let the Patriotic Pretzel Hugs cool completely or refrigerate them for about 5 minutes to set. Then, they’re ready to serve!

Made using Hershey's candy cane kisses and blue M&Ms. Hard to find those kisses at this time of year - need to stock up next Christmas - but color is great!

Hi! Thank you! Ooooooh, I did not think about using the candy cane ones - great idea!!! (this is a must-try for next year - once I can save some from Christmas, lol). They'd be great for Christmas too, simply changing the M&Ms colors to red and green. Thanks for sharing your idea.
