Easy & Effective Ways to Advertise Your Venue’s Live Events

Love it? Pls Share it!

You know you’ve got the hottest venue in town, but are you looking for ways to advertise your venue’s live events to get the word out on your next big happening? The event is booked and now you’re curious about how to make sure most people see the great event you have coming up? Are you also trying to do it without wanting to pull your hair out?

Don’t worry, this doesn’t need to be the stressful part of your upcoming event. All people need to do is hear about it with enough time in advance. Just follow these few easy ideas on ways to advertise your venue’s live events and you’ll have the place sold out in no time.

Social Media

One of the best ways to advertise your venue’s live events is social media. Don’t underestimate the power of an online following. If your event space doesn’t have a large presence on social media, the effort that goes into building one will pay for itself time and time again. As the years go on, more and more of our lives are on our phones and that means it’s how people are going to get their information.

Try not to just stick to one social media platform either. Depending on your events, certain age ranges might be the likely demographic of what you’re hosting. That might give you a clue of what social media platforms to focus on.

When using whichever internet avenues are right for your venue, the key to success is timed and consistent posts. You can make sure to post at the same time every day (or at least more days than not) and you can do this manually or set up automatically timed posts that are queued to go live at the times you’ve set.

Posters

Posters are another of the ways to advertise your venue’s live events. While we do live in a digital age, don’t underestimate the analog options. Where exactly you’ll want them is going to depend on where exactly you live. You’ll, of course, want the most foot traffic possible and as long as you are familiar with the area you shouldn’t have a hard time figuring out where good spots are.

Also, make sure to invest in as many outdoor poster frames as you’ll need. The last thing you are going to want is for your posters to get faded from the sun or damaged in a storm. One bad weather day can easily make it so the date of the event or the address of the venue aren’t eligible to any passersby.

Word of Mouth

Last, but not least, when it comes to ways to advertise your venue’s live events, word of mouth can be very effective. It’s human nature to love feeling like we are part of the in-crowd. A great way of doing this to just spread the word and get people talking. Of course, you want to reach as many people as possible, so don’t just do this as your only way of advertising, but also don’t disregard the allure of the underground. Creating a buzz before anything is officially announced is a sure way to get people always checking your actual channels of communication.

This can also be done through social media, like mentioned earlier, but instead of using the venue’s accounts, collaborate with any local bloggers and influencers that can stir up some buzz when they say they are interested in or are attending your event.
