Bought a "Student" card to use at JC Penney. The salon does not accept it. The front cashier would not accept it for a shirt purchase. Where can you use these gift cards?

Hi Leon, Wow! Really? That's not right at all! Was the cost of the salon or the shirt purchase more than the amount of the card? If so, I believe you have to tell the cashier the exaact amount of the card and have her put it in then pay the difference another way. If that was not the problem, then I would definitely call Happy Cards and explain what happened. There are several phone numbers on the Happy Cards website FAQ page at https://happycards.com/faq/. I've used different cards at different stores and never had an issue. However, when the purcahse is more than the gift card amount, they have to ring it up as a split transaction like I mentioned above. I hope everything gets worked out for you!

I would not recommend this card - I received a card for my birthday - you can not redeem for Spafinder as advertised and the phone number on the back of the card and on the website will not let you get to a live person, you are stuck in automation hell.
