INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE NO-BAKE EASTER DESSERT BUNNY DONUTS
These super cute Bunny Donuts are made with mini white powdered donuts topped with adorable candy bunny ears and candy facial features.
To make these no-bake Easter dessert donuts you will need:
- white powdered mini donuts
- white gel icing – to use as ‘glue’
- candy facial features
I actually used a Great Value Bunny Face Cupcake Decorating Kit I found at Walmart to decorate the powdered donuts. Amazon also has a similar bunny decorating kit although you will still need to get licorice for whiskers.

If you can’t find either cupcake decorating kit, you can use the following ingredients TO MAKE YOUR OWN NO-BAKE EASTER DESSERT BUNNY FACES AND EARS:
- small candy eyeballs
- black licorice laces for the whiskers
- tiny pink jelly bellies or pink cookie icing – for the nose
- marshmallows – for the ears (*you could also use taffy and shape it into ears)
- pink sanding sugar – for the pink part of the ears

HOW TO ASSEMBLE EASTER BUNNY DONUTS
These tasty treats are so incredibly easy-to-make, the hardest part of the process is attaching the candy ears! Ready to get started?
*See instructions below if you are making your own rabbit ears from marshmallows.
Attach ears – First, use a butter knife to carefully make two small slits on the top side of each donut.

Next, add a bit of gel icing to the bottom of each candy ear. Then carefully insert each ear into the slits. Do not push too hard or too quickly or the donut will crumble. You may also need to hold the ears for a few seconds until the icing becomes tacky enough to hold them upright.

Place the Eyes – Next, use a tiny amount of gel icing to the back of each candy eye then put them into place on the donut.

Add the whiskers– Then cut 4 small pieces of black licorice to use as the rabbit’s whiskers. Once cut, add a small amount of gel icing to one side of the licorice pieces to act as glue. Then place the whiskers – 2 per side- on each side of the donut’s hole.

Attach the nose – Lastly, use a small dab of icing on the backside of the candy nose then place it on top of the whiskers.

And that’s it! Your super cute no-bake Easter dessert is finished! Remember to allow the icing to set for at least 20 minutes before serving.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN BUNNY EARS FROM MARSHMALLOWS*
Using scissors, cut each marshmallow on the diagonal, and then immediately press the sticky cut side into the sprinkles. Next, cut a flat area on the bottom of each marshmallow ear. Lastly, add some gel icing to the flat part and then quickly put the ears in place on the top edge of each donut. You will have to hold the ears in place for a few until the icing dries.
An alternate way to attach the ears is to use toothpicks. Just be sure to remind little ones about the toothpicks before they bite into the donut.
Another option is to use white and pink taffy to make your own rabbit ears. Simply shape a piece of white taffy into the classic rabbit ear shape. Then add some pink taffy to make the inside part. You will need to use a toothpick to attach the taffy ears to the donut.
