Kids love bubbles! Imagine how neat it would be if you could actually hold one of those spheres of ever-changing color in your hands? If you could catch them in mid float, toss them in the air or maybe even juggle them?
Juggle Bubbles was created so you could do just that! The Juggle Bubbles Activity Kit comes with a bottle of bubble solution, a bubble tray, a bubble blower and one pair of bright orange Magic Gloves that will enable your child to reach out and finally hold that frail, fleeting bubble in her hands. The gloves are bright orange, very soft to the touch, and are made of a polyester, acrylic and elastane blend. They are quite stretchy, and should easily fit on any age child’s hands. At first I have to admit I was pretty skeptical about how well the bubbles and the gloves would work, so skeptical that I just had to give it a try for myself before giving it to my niece!
After opening the packaging, I poured a bit of bubble solution in the tray, and slipped on one of the gloves. I dipped the end of the blower into the solution and went to work. The first thing I noticed was just how BIG of a bubble you could actually blow with this blower! I was able to blow some pretty good-sized bubbles! After experimenting with the different size bubbles I could blow, it was time for the big test. I started out trying to catch some of the larger bubbles, but each one would pop if not as soon as it touched my hand, then shortly thereafter.
Once I started trying to catch the mid-size to smaller bubbles, the gloves would work, although no quite as well as what is shown on the commercial. However, I was able to hold bubbles, throw them back up in the air, and catch them again. I could catch them on my palm, on the top of my hand and even on my fingertips. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that I could juggle the bubbles, but just the same I was having a pretty good time. I cannot say the same for my cat who not having much success catching the bubbles with her own fur-covered paws.
I did like the fact that the kit comes with a tray and a bubble blower. Once finished, the tray has a little dip in the side that works great as a spout for pouring leftover solution back into the bottle. Overall, while they popped a lot easier and more often than depicted, they are bubbles, and it is hard to go wrong when you give them to a child!
