Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Bathroom Scale Review

The Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Bathroom Scale, with MICROBAN® Antimicrobial Product Protection

My husband and I have a goal of trying to lose 30 pounds by Christmas time.  Hopefully we will do it, but it is hard to diet and know how much you are losing (or gaining) without a scale! That’s why when I was offered the opportunity to review a bathroom scale by Ozeri, I jumped at the chance!

Ozeri is well known for the innovative and modern products they make for the home, health, entertainment and more.  I have actually reviewed another Ozeri product in the past, the Pro Digital II Kitchen Scale, and have been very pleased with it and still use it today, so I knew I would be getting a quality product!

Features of the Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Scale

The bathroom scale I was sent is the Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Bathroom Scale with MICROBAN® Antimicrobial Product Protection.  This scale is made of extremely durable materials including ultra ABS slip-resistant material on the outside and impact-resistant tempered glass on the inside

It measures around 13.5 x 1 x 14 inches which is the perfect size for placing in your bathroom.  The black color and sleek design give this scale a modern look that goes well in any bathroom.  One of my favorite features of this scale is that it has MICROBAN® Antibacterial Protection.

Did you know that on an unprotected bathroom scale surface, bacteria can double in number every twenty minutes with frequent skin contact and exposure to moisture?  Gross, isn’t it?  Thankfully, Ozeri infused this scale during production with MICROBAN® which inhibits the growth of odor and stain causing bacteria.

The MICROBAN® Antibacterial Protection will last for the lifetime of the product, helping the surface of your scale remain clean and odor-free; quite a feat for a bathroom scale!

Another of my favorite features of this scale is the extra-large, extra bright, blue-backlit LCD which you can easily see without having to squint or crouch over to read! The scale has a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds and uses four high precision sensors to accurately capture weights which it rounds to the nearest 100 grams.

Although the scale is set to weigh in pounds, you can easily change it to kilograms using the switch found on the underside.

Using the Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Scale

Setting the scale up and getting it calibrated is very easy.  It does require three AAA batteries to operate, and Ozeri makes sure to include a set with each scale.  The battery compartment is on the underside of the scale and is easy to open.

Once you have the batteries inside, place it on a flat, hard surface and step on – no tapping with this scale, just step on with both feet and it turns on. The scale will then automatically calibrate.

It will also auto-calibrate anytime it senses that you picked it up and moved it to another location. You will need to ignore the first reading as it most likely added its own weight when it calibrated.

So simply step off, wait for it to automatically turn off (saves energy!), then step back on to get your weight.  The final calculation will blink so you know that is your weight.

Where to Purchase the Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Bathroom Scale

I have owned several digital scales in the past, and none have come anywhere close to the quality of the Ozeri WeightMaster.  You can purchase the Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Bathroom Scale with MICROBAN Antimicrobial Product Protection directly through Amazon for a very reasonable price!  It comes with a one year warranty, batteries and an instruction manual.

A clean scale. Being that we keep these in Bathrooms, I'm glad Ozeri knows how important protecting bacteria exposure can be

I haven't owned a digital scale yet, but I love how bright and large the numbers are - very easy to read!
