Handy Hold All Review: Help for Your Organizing Woes

As many of you know, one of the biggest challenges of living in an apartment is staying organized with little space. I am on a permanent mission to make the best of the space we have, and through out the process have been lucky enough to find several wonderful products to help maximize space and organize items.  As a matter of fact, I recently received for review another great product to help with my organizing woes from Simply Sarah Shaw called The Handy Hold All™.

Simply Sarah Shaw, known for the popular Sarah Shaw handbag line, has expanded her creativity to producing innovative, beautiful and practical products for the home. She uses her own bright and cheerful fabric designs resulting in unique and welcoming cosmetic bags, baskets, and of course, the item I received, the Handy Hold All™.

The Handy Hold All™ is an innovative over-the-door organizer that provides a fun and stylish way to organize reusable grocery bags, purses, scarves, belts hats and more.  It is basically a 39″ long by 4″ wide piece of fabric with seven hanging loops strategically placed down its length that close using a snap. You hang it over the back of your door using the included grommet.

The grommet is made from a sturdy piece of silver-colored metal.  It has a rectangular-shaped part on one end that securely fits over the top of your door, and a rounded-off hook part on the other end that the Handy Hold All slips onto.  There is no way for it to fall off because of the way the top rectangular part hooks around the door.

At first I was worried the door would not completely close, but the metal is thin enough where the closet door closes completely, and all you can see is a small part of the grommet.  You can also easily mount the grommet in your closet if you choose.

The Handy Hold All™ is made of 100% cotton and is extremely durable.  It feels as though it is capable of supporting a fair amount of weight.  Each of the seven loops of fabric are also very durable, and can hold 2 to 4 items apiece.  The loops close using silver-colored snaps, and there is no need to worry about the snaps popping open because they close very securely!

I tested my Handy Hold All™ using several different items, and it did not take me long to realize all of the things I could use it to hold!   After trying scarves, purses, belts and reusable shopping bags, I finally settled on using it for my solely for scarves and hand bags, and accepted the realization that I need one or two more so I can have another one in our bedroom and one in the kitchen.  Just using the one I have opened up an entire dresser drawer giving me some much-needed room for clothes!

The Handy Hold All is available in four fun and colorful patterns, my favorite of which is the one I received, the Candy Dot.  You can purchase them directly though the Simply Sarah Shaw website, and they are very reasonably priced.  I highly recommend the Handy Hold All™ to anyone who needs a better way to organize!
