Learn, Create and Share while Giving Back at The School of #MakeOurMark
This is a sponsored post. Regardless, all opinions are my own.
For years, SkillShare has been connecting people around the world with some of the coolest online classes offered. It’s where you can learn real world skills from the comfort of your own home.
How Does SkillShare Work?
The video-based classes are taught by incredible teachers, and are available at anytime, enabling you to move at your own pace. Whether you are into photography, music, advertising, graphic design, fashion, culinary arts or film making, SkillShare can connect you to a class you’ll love!
School of MakeOurMark
Levi’s has joined with SkillShare to form The School of MarkOurMark – a series of six ultra-hip online classes that allow you to learn creative skills from world-class experts while the proceeds go towards music and arts education for children. With our help, they’re hoping to raise thousands of dollars for art and music education for kids.
Classes range from Urban Photography to Vintage Postcard Design to Designing Tattoos, and each one is taught by such visionary artists as Cubby Graham, David Carson, Bang Bang, Benjamin Samuel, Brock Davis, and Linda Eliasen.
At The School of MakeOurMark, you will meet people from around the globe with the same interests as you, learn new skills and develop your talent.
The projects you’ll create in each class are based on themes that drive individual creativity: Origins. Passions. Methods. Goals.
You will have the opportunity to share your completed project in the SkillShare Gallery, and the top projects from each class will be chosen to go into a special time capsule to be opened at some point in the future by both Levi’s and SkillShare.
How Much Does It Cost?
The School of MakeOurMark classes are extremely affordable at only $10, and thanks to Levi’s, 100% of the money goes to help fund arts and music education for kids in grades K – 8 through 826 National. The classes being offered are:
- Urban Explorer Photography: Shooting the forgotten and the Familiar, taught by Cubby Graham
