With our recent move to another apartment, there are still plenty of things that need to be done to make this seem like a home, especially in the extra room we use as our office. While the furniture is in its place, and the knick knacks are placed around, the big blank walls are screaming for some love and attention!
Painting, of course, is out of the question since we rent, and all of my pictures have already been hung in other rooms. I simply do not have the budget to go buy new artwork, either. Luckily, I found the perfect solution when I was given the opportunity to review a product from Walls Need Love!
Walls Need Love has a great selection of premium removable wall decals and vinyl wall art, both of which are a great way to decorate without spending a lot of time and money, and without damaging the walls.
Plus, they let your creativity reign supreme since you can choose the design and colors; and, with some wall stickers like their design packs, you can arrange the art exactly to your taste, too!
You can choose from wall quotes, wall decals, wallpaper and even artistic prints, in a wide range of themes and topics.
Can’t decide what you want? No problem! Walls Need Love has every type of wall decal you could imagine from quotes to clocks, dry erase to chalkboard, kids nursery themes to trees and branches, and so much more.
You can even create your own with their custom prints, wall text and monogram decals.
I choose the Cherry Blossom Wall Decal for this huge blank wall in the room we use as an office. It added a much-needed splash of color and went perfectly with the Asian-type décor placed through out the room. Like many of their wall decals, this one is available in different sizes, and you can choose the color of both the branches and the blossoms.
Once my order was placed, it took just a few days to arrive, and it came with everything I needed to hang it. It arrived in a sturdy cardboard tube along with a squeegee, practice decals and detailed instructions.
It took my husband and I about 25 minutes to complete. Before you begin, be sure the wall you are hanging it on is free from any dirt or dust. If you need to, wipe it down with a damp cloth then allow it to dry completely before applying your decal.
Since the decal I choose was rather big and had several branches on one large sheet, to make things easier we cut it into separate sheets. The blossoms came on another sheet.
The first step was to lay the decals out flat on a hard surface and rub the backs with the squeegee to flatten any wrinkles, rolls or bubbles. This also helps to ensure the vinyl decal sticks to the transfer tape for when you peel it away from the base paper.
Once we were sure of the exact position we wanted the decal on the wall, we began the process of applying by slowly peeling the transfer tape away from the base paper making sure all of the vinyl decal comes up. Peel until you reach the center, then use scissors to cut away the exposed paper base.
Place the decal against the wall exactly where you want it, and use the squeegee to remove any wrinkles or air bubbles.
Once you are certain there are no wrinkles or bubbles, you start the final step. Starting at a corner, SLOWLY peel the transfer paper directly back on itself. Be sure to go slowly so you do not tear it.
Use your other hand to hold down any vinyl that tries to peel back up. If this happens, replace the paper back over it and re-smooth with the squeegee until you are sure it is firmly stuck to the wall.
Now that we had the main part of the decal up, it was time to apply the flowers.
This was done just like you would apply a regular sticker.
The final step was to step back and enjoy!
I was very happy with my decal from Walls Need Love. The entire site is very user-friendly, and once I had the decal picked out, the check out process was quick and simple.
The decal itself is very high quality, and is made from durable, long-lasting vinyl. The colors are bright and true, and installation was a cinch. It is amazing how much these decals look as though an artist painted the picture on your wall.
The make such a huge difference, and can completely make a room! And I especially love that they are easy to remove, and will not damage the wall which means I won’t lose my security deposit or have to pay any damages when we move.
In my opinion, wall decals from Walls Need Love are the ideal way to decorate quickly, inexpensively and uniquely! The Comic Drama wall decal is awesome! We just finished painting our spare bedroom that I will be turning into an office space a beautiful deep purple color and can practically see that decal complimenting the room perfectly. So cool!

I'm actually really in love with their wall paper. If that's an option, I'd get the Autumn Leaves, Option 3. Or the always kiss me goodnight decal. I have always loved that quote
