Nothing tastes quite as good on a hot summer’s day than an ice-cold fresh fruit smoothie! For the longest time I didn’t bother with making my own smoothies because I am the only one in our home that drinks them. Since I only need to make enough for one person, using my regular blender is inconvenient. Not only is it a hassle to use and clean, but it makes too much for just one person.
And since I wasn’t about to go spend hundreds of dollars on a Vitamix or other similar machine, I’d just go buy a smoothie whenever the craving hit. But then I discovered the Tribest Mason Jar Personal Blender.
Tribest Mason Jar Personal Blender Review
Despite its compact size, the Tribest Mason Jar Personal Blender can pretty much do everything a larger blender can do; only faster, and with less mess. At just 6″ tall x 4.75″ diameter and just 3 lbs., this personal blender (aff. link) easily blends ice and grinds nuts, and is ideal for blending fruits and vegetables, mixing protein drinks, milkshakes, smoothies and even baby food. Its 200 watt motor has 2 speeds – Pulse and Continuous, and is extremely easy to use. But what is especially unique about this blender is that instead of blending in one container and then pouring into another, the Tribest Mason Jar Personal Blender allows you to blend, serve and store all using the same container!
The Tribest Mason Jar Personal Blender is extremely simple to use, and it comes with everything you need. Did I mention the cups are all BPA-free? The model you see here, the PB-350, comes with all of the following:
- 1 Blender Motor Base
- 1 Stainless Steel Blending Blade Assembly
- 1 Stainless Steel Grinding Blade Assembly
- 1 Mason Jar Attachment
- 1 16 ounce BPA Free Blending Cup (includes measuring lines)
- 1 8 ounce BPA Free Grinding Cup (includes measuring lines)
- 1 Storage Cup Lid
- 1 Commuter Sipping Lid to take with you on the go
- 1 4 ounce Glass Mason Jar
- 1 8 ounce Glass Mason Jar
- 1 12 ounce Glass Mason Jar
- 1 16 ounce Glass Drinking Mug
- 3 Glass Mason Jar Lids with metal Bands
- 1 Glass Mason Jar Plastic Lid
This particular model is also designed so that it works with most regular-mouth mason jars, which means that in addition to the jars it comes with, you can also use your own mason jars!
Using the blender is as easy as filling one of the cups with the recipes’ ingredients, then selecting either the grinding lid or the blending lid and placing it on the cup tightly. Next, invert the cup and place it on the blender, then either push down on the cup for the Pulse function, or press down and twist the cup to lock it in place and activate the Continuous Operation function.
Once your ingredients reach the desired consistency, remove it from the unit, trade the grinding or blending lid with a drinking lid, and then you are finished!
Using the same cup for blending and drinking cuts down on both mess and clean up leaving you more time to enjoy what you made! Once cleaned, the Tribest is so small and light that it can easily be stored either on top of the counter (doesn’t take a lot of room) or up in a cabinet. The Tribest Mason Jar Personal Blender can be purchased directly through the site, through Amazon.com (aff. link), and through Target.com.
