One of my true loves ever since I was a child has been books. All kinds of books from fiction to non-fiction, Sci-Fi, Mystery, Romance, Comedy…whatever the genre, I can get lost for hours in a well written book. From the moment I read the synopsis, I knew that Blaze of Glory by M. Garzon was going to be one of those wonderful books! And although it is a book for young adults, I am very happy I had the opportunity to read it!

M. Garzon’s writing is so descriptive that I felt as though I was right there on the ranch, with Tea, learning the bittersweet lessons of life, laughing with her, hurting with her and feeling the excitement and trepidation of falling in forbidden love.
I was enthralled from the very first page and had a hard time closing the story for the night! Her characters seem to come to life right off the pages, and she keeps you turning the pages impatient to see what happens next!
This is honestly one of the best Young Adult books I have read in quite a while! M. Garzon truly helped me remember how it feels to be a young female, coming of age, once again. This is the perfect book for teens and young adults, with everything from laughter to tears, despair to hope.
It is the first in its series and is soon to be a new television series! I highly recommend this page turner with one word of advice: before you watch the series, read the book!
