Delivery.com: Now You Can Have Your Favorite Food Delivered to You!

Everyone loves those nice nights in when you have your food delivered to your door.  You don’t have to worry about cooking, or doing the dishes, for once you can sit down and relax and have dinner come to you.  The only drawback is that ordering the same old pizza or wings or sandwiches gets old after awhile!

Wouldn’t it be nice to have some variety?  Or wouldn’t it be nice to have your favorite store deliver your groceries to your door? Or how about that special gift for the one you love?

If you are going to be out and about anyway, wouldn’t it be nice to have your items waiting for you as soon as you walk in the store’s door?  Well, Delivery.com makes all of that possible!  Yes, that’s right!  Delivery or pick up, Delivery.com is a wonderful online delivery service that brings your favorite merchant’s items right to your door!

Since 2004, Delivery.com has been making delivery from your favorite restaurants and stores a cinch!  As long as your store participates, and it doesn’t matter if it is a restaurant, a grocery or even a florist, if they are on the list, you can easily have their items delivered right to your door!

Now, you can even take advantage of ordering what you need online, then going to the store and having it ready for you to pick up!  Imagine the time saved!  Delivery.com has a list of over 10,000 merchants in over 50 major cities across the entire country, and they are growing every day!

If that is not tempting enough, check out their points program.  For every dollar you spend ordering through Delivery.com, you earn 25 Delivery Points. Delivery.com generously gave me a gift code so I could try out the service and write a review.  When I first went to the site, I put in my address so I could be sure there were participating merchants where I live. To my delight, one of my favorite restaurants was on the list as well as what type of food they serve, their address, hours of delivery, a required minimum for delivery and the cost (percentage) of delivery fee.

Please note, Delivery.com does not charge a delivery fee, this fee is set up between the merchant and/or their third party delivery partner.

I then clicked on my chosen merchant and this took me to their Delivery.com page where I was able to view the entire menu, complete with descriptions of each item, and place my order.  There is also a tab where I could see any reviews that have been posted regarding that merchant.

Placing the order was very straight-forward, I just made my selection and on the left-hand side of the page it showed my subtotal, tax and the amount of tip that was added in automatically. Payment methods included cash, credit card, debit card, gift card, campus card and promotions, but keep in mind this can vary from merchant to merchant, just check under the “Pay By” column.

I also had the ability to choose what day and time I wanted my order delivered.  After I had my order selected, I choose ‘check out’ which took me to another page where I filled in my address, selected my payment method, added extra tip then confirmed the order.   I was also informed of how many points I received towards my Delivery Points.  Once the order was placed, and I received an email confirmation, all that was left to do was wait.

Exactly when requested, the knock on the door came, along with the enticing aroma of fresh-cooked Italian food.  No papers to sign, no nothing, just get the food and we were ready to eat.

The food was delicious and the simplicity of Delivery.com made the evening perfect.  I found the site very user-friendly and an innovative, convenient idea.  I would highly recommend giving Delivery.com a try next time you are looking to have your merchandise delivered or waiting for you when you arrive to carry it home!  Delivery.com also has a free app you can download to your Android or iPhone to make using their service even easier.
