When it comes to decking the halls for the holidays, I’m all about making things look festive with as little fuss as possible. So, when I was offered the opportunity to try the King of Christmas King Noble Fir Collection 4-Piece Set with Warm White LED Lights, I couldn’t wait to see if it brings the holiday magic with ease. Spoiler alert: it does!

With two 3 foot pre-lit trees, a garland, and a wreath, this set promises to bring holiday cheer without the hassle of stringing lights or dealing with cords—and it definitely delivers in a lot of ways! So, here’s my honest experience with the set after putting it up in my home.

Unboxing and First Impressions

Right out of the box, I could tell this set has potential. The classic Christmas green foliage looks pretty realistic, and after fluffing the branches, the pieces start looking fuller.

The King Noble Fir collection includes two 3-foot trees, a 9-foot garland, and a 24-inch wreath, all pre-lit with warm white LED lights. I decided to decorate the mantel with the garland, hang the wreath above it, and place the two trees on either side of the hearth.

After adding some pinecones, gold berries, and a garland of bells, it really brings a festive feel to my living room.

The Garland and Wreath: Lovely with a Few Tweaks

The 9-foot garland is just the right length for my mantel. It comes with plenty of hooks for hanging or adding to it. I added some personal touches by incorporating pinecones, berry picks, and a fun garland of bells to give it a little extra flair.

The 24-inch wreath hangs above the mantel, and I continued the pinecone and berry theme to tie everything together. Both pieces are pre-lit with warm white LED lights, which gives my living room a lovely holiday glow without being too overpowering.

However, I did encounter a small issue with the first garland I received—it had a few spots where it was quite sparse and it seemed like some branches were missing. Thankfully, King of Christmas was quick to respond, and they replaced the garland right away.

While the second garland also had one or two small sparse spots, I was easily able to work around it by adding some extra branches in those areas. Once decorated, you can’t tell and it looks lush and beautiful.

The Trees: Cute and Compact

The two 3-foot pre-lit trees are adorable and perfect for small spaces or for framing a fireplace. I wrapped mine in gold ribbon and topped them with burlap bows for a rustic touch. While they definitely add charm, I did notice that they could be fuller. They looked a tad sparse, but once I fluffed the branches and added my own decorations, they really came together.

Lighting Features and Battery-Operated Convenience

Two of my favorite things about this set are that all the pieces are pre-lit with lots of warm white LED lights and they come with battery packs. The convenience of being able to place the garland, wreath, and trees anywhere without worrying about stringing lights or finding nearby outlets is a huge win.

Each piece has the option of plugging in or running on batteries, which is such a nice touch. The battery packs take three D batteries and also include a timer option, which I love. I can set it to the 6-hour timer, and the lights automatically turn on in the evening and turn off later at night without me having to remember. No more forgetting to turn off the lights before bed!

That said, I did run into a bit of a challenge with the lights during the initial setup. Some of the lights were tightly wrapped around the several branches in spots, bunching the branches together and making it tricky to spread them out evenly. However, I was able to fix it quickly by unwinding and rethreading the lights in those spots. Once that was done, the lights worked perfectly, and I haven’t had any issues since.

Is It Worth the Price?

Normally priced at $349, this set is currently discounted to $249 (as of October 13, 2024), which is a fantastic deal. You’re getting four pre-lit pieces that can instantly transform your home into a winter wonderland. Sure, the trees and garland could be a bit fuller, but once you add your personal touches, this set really shines.

If you bought all these pieces separately, you’d easily pay more. Plus, the convenience of battery-operated lights with timers makes this set a no-brainer for hassle-free holiday decorating.

Pros and Cons of the King Noble Fir Collection

Overall, the King Noble Fir Collection is a great set, but like any product, it has its strengths and a few areas that could use improvement. Here’s a quick summary of the pros and cons so you can decide if it’s the right fit for your holiday decor.

Pros:

• Battery-Operated: No need for outlets (unless you want to use them)! The included battery packs make it easy to place these pieces anywhere, and the built-in timer saves you from having to turn the lights on and off.
• Warm White LED Lights: Pre-lit and ready to go, the LEDs give off a soft, cozy glow that’s perfect for creating a festive atmosphere.
• Versatile Placement: Since everything is battery-powered, you can use the set indoors or outdoors (in covered areas) without worrying about finding a power source.
• Easy to Shape: The branches are easy to fluff and shape, allowing you to style the pieces however you like.
• Great Value: At the discounted price of $249, this set is a great deal for what you get.
• Customer Service: Excellent! King of Christmas quickly replaced my first garland when I had an issue.

Cons:

• Sparse in Some Spots: The trees and garland could be a little fuller. You might need to add extra decorations or greenery to achieve a more lush look – as is true with all artificial decor.
• Tight Lights: Some of the lights were wrapped too tightly around the branches, requiring a little extra work to distribute them evenly. Easy and quick fix!

Overall, I’m super happy with the King Noble Fir Collection from King of Christmas. It brings the holiday cheer with minimal effort, and the battery-operated lights give you the freedom to place everything exactly where you want—no outlets required. Everything looks gorgeous once you add your own decorations and fluff them up.
