Roaring Spring Paper Products The Green Paper Company

Love it? Pls Share it!

Despite the horribly true fact that our natural resources are slowly diminishing, despite the fact that much work is now done on computers, we still need paper products.  So when I found Roaring Spring Paper Products, I was delighted to find that they offer a line of earth-friendly paper products which includes three types of sustainable papers: Sugarcane Fiber Paper, Recycled Paper and Poo Paper!  They also offer custom logo printing in addition to their large line of innovative paper products.

Roaring Spring has been producing quality paper products for over 100 years, in fact, they are now celebrating their 135th anniversary.  They are one of the largest, oldest and greenest independently owned manufacturers of notebooks in America, and are operating at 98% landfill-free.  This means any waste they make while producing their products is collected, separated and recycled to be made into useful products again as opposed to going to the landfill.

Sugarcane Sustainable Paper Products

Their product line includes everything you could need for home, school and office including art supplies, binders, pencil cases, index cards, file folders, exam books and papers, and so much more.  I was sent a great sampling of products from the popular Genesis line, as well as a few of their innovative wide landscape pads.  Each one has been made from recycled and/or sustainable products, and you cannot even tell the difference!

The spiral bound notebooks are each made of sustainable recovered sugarcane fibers.  I was sent a single subject, a 3 subject and a 5 subject, all of which have durable, vinyl covers, heavy duty backs, 1 double pocket and a page each for class schedule and assignments.  The pages are perforated which makes them much easier to remove, and all three notebooks have holes so they can be clipped inside of a three-ring binder.  The pages themselves are just as thick as tree-made paper and come in both college-ruled and wide-ruled.

Roaring Spring Wide Landscape Pads are made from recycled paper and come in a variety of sizes and colors.  This wide paper allows you to work in computer screen dimensions.  The paper itself is available in wide-ruled or college-ruled, and it is perforated at the top of the pads to make removal much easier.   I received one white-colored pad which has 40 sheets of paper, college-ruled lines and measures 11” x 9.5”.  I also received a pack of 3 multi-colored pads, also with 40 sheets of college-ruled paper per pad.

Did You Know?*

  • the typical U.S. citizen emits 9000lbs of carbon dioxide per year, which is a huge carbon footprint?
  • landfills also produce many greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide
  • in order to have clean air, we have to conserve as many trees as possible
  • an average size tree can oxygen for a family of four for an entire year?
  • sugarcane paper is made from a byproduct of the sugar-making process
  • did you know that producing sugarcane paper conserves over 60,000 acres of forestland every year!
  • Roaring Spring Paper Products can be purchased both online and at many office supply stores across the nation.

I received this product for free for the purpose of review.  I was not compensated in any other way, nor am I under contract with this company.  All opinions are my own.
