Built NY Tote and Camera Case Review

Everyone can always use totes bags, carrying cases for portable electronics, diaper bags and more. I love finding ones that a bright and colorful. So when I was offered the chance to review some products made by Built NY , I couldn’t wait for them to arrive!  Built NY is well-known for their stylish, yet functional bags and totes.  Everything they make is made out of neoprene, the material wetsuits are made of, which means they are not only water-resistant, but they are easy to clean and extremely durable!

Built 10 Year Anniversary Special Edition Pattern Collection

This year marks Built NY’s 10 Year Anniversary, and to celebrate they have released a collection of their stylish and functional products in a colorful special edition pattern, Stripe No.10!  This bright and cheerful pattern consists of red, orange, yellow, lavender, teal, white and navy blue vertical stripes of varying widths with fire engine red accents. It is incredibly fun, hip and stylish, and since I like it so much, I chose two of their items in this pattern for review!

Review of the Built NY Market Neoprene Tote

The first item I received is the handy Market Neoprene Tote.  This fun tote is made of water-resistant neoprene which also allows it to stretch a bit without tearing or breaking.  The outside has tons of colorful stripes, while the inside is decorated with a pattern using the number 10 repeated multiple times. The tote measures about 15.75″ wide, 14.8″ tall with a diameter of 5.7″ making it the perfect size for trips to the store, a day at the beach, a picnic, a quick overnight trip and much more.

So far I have used it as a reusable grocery bag, an overnight bag and a beach bag. I was amazed to see exactly how much you can fit into this bag, and I love that it is incredibly tough and durable.  It’s padded handles make carrying heavy loads much more comfortable, and it folds up flat for easy storage when not in use.  I also like that the soft neoprene is easy to wipe clean with a cloth, and for deeper dirt you can simply throw it in the washing machine!

Review of the Built NY Zip Camera Case

The second item I received was the much-needed compact Zip Camera Case, also in the fun and stylish Stripe No.10 pattern. The camera case measures around 5.5″ in width, 3¾” in height and 8″ in depth making it perfect for today’s compact cameras.  Also made of neoprene, the bag provides protection against moisture and is nicely padded.  Inside, it is lined with incredibly soft fleece which protects the lens and the body of the camera from scratches.

I really like that it has a removable wrist strap for easy carrying, and a large-sized, horizontal zipper that gives you quick and easy access for those shots you don’t want to miss! A damp washcloth is all you need to easily wipe down the outside of the case, however, for an all over washing, due to the fleece lining, it is recommended that you only hand wash this camera bag, then let it drip dry.

I love both of these stylish and fun products by Built NY. Not only are the bright and colorful, but they are extremely well-made and durable. Although I chose the same pattern for both, the tote and the camera bag are available in several different colors and patterns.
