Since it’s been a few minutes since I’ve posted a new drink recipe, I figured why not make it the ultimate classic, a rich and creamy Cherry Cream Soda?!
CHERRY CREAM SODA RECIPE FOR VALENTINES’ DAY AND BEYOND
Cherry Cream Soda is a fun, refreshing, and delicious drink that is very easy to make. While most people think about cream soda during the warmer months, the pretty pink color of this makes it perfect for your Valentine’s Day festivities!
Whether you’re serving it for a romantic date, at a Valentine’s gathering, for movie night, or simply as a treat for the kids, this pink drink is sure to become a favorite!
HOW TO MAKE CHERRY CREAM SODA
With only three ingredients, this cherry cream soda not only tastes dreamy, but it is also a quick and easy treat to make!

CHERRY CREAM SODA INGREDIENTS
All you need for this easy drink recipe is:
Cream Soda
My favorite is A&W, because it tastes just as good as their root beer tastes in this root beer float recipe, but feel free to use your favorite brand.
Heavy Cream
Adds a nice creamy consistency and flavor with just the barest hint of sweetness.
Grenadine Cherry Flavored Syrup
Make sure you are getting Grenadine flavored syrup, not the alcoholic version grenadine! Although for an adult treat, I bet the alcoholic version would be extra yummy! 😉
Maraschino Cherries
To garnish the drink.
EASY CHERRY CREAM SODA RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
This is a very basic recipe, but it still tastes pretty great! The reason it is so simple is because it uses already-made cream soda. In fact, this recipe is so simple that the kids can make it themselves.
Step One: Add Soda
First add the cream soda to the pitcher.
Step Two: Add Heavy Cream
Next, pour in the heavy cream. 20 seconds.
Step Three: Pour in Grenadine
Now, add in the grenadine and stir well to mix all ingredients together. I usually stir for about 20 seconds just to ensure all three ingredients are completely combined.
Step Four: Pour
Pour the Cherry Cream Soda over ice in a well-chilled glass.
Step Five: Garnish
Grab a cherry for garnish. Then add a fun straw (how cute are these heart shaped straws?!) and enjoy! YUM!
CHERRY CREAM SODA VARIATIONS
Another thing I love about this tasty recipe is that it is very versatile. There are so many variations you can make, and they all taste great! Here are a few of my favorites:
- Change up the flavor by using flavored syrups of your choice. I prefer Torani’s syrups.
- Make it cherry vanilla by adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract or some vanilla syrup.
- Turn it into an adult drink by adding a splash of vodka.
- Create a Cherry Cream Soda Float by adding a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream to the glass.

Ingredients
