Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Ingredients

For the Chicken
2 – 3 cups Tyson Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt
Pepper
8 ounces (1/2 of a 1-pound package) fettuccine pasta, cooked and drained

For the Alfredo Sauce

½ cup butter
1 pint heavy whipping cream (2 cups)
4 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp pepper (or to taste)
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tsp fresh chopped parsley

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Instructions

Begin by preparing the fettuccini noodles, following the instructions on the box. This usually takes between 10 to 12 minutes. While the noodles are cooking, go ahead and prepare the sauce and the chicken following the instructions below

For the Chicken

Add the olive oil to a skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken and allow to warm for 6 -7 minutes.

For the Sauce

In a medium saucepan add the butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat, whisking until melted.
Next, stir in the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth.
Add the grated parmesan cheese, mixing well.
Stir in the fresh parsley.
Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it starts to thicken.

By now, the noodles should be finished cooking. If there is still a few more minutes to go, reduce the heat to low, and whisk occasionally. Once the noodles are cooked, drain, add them to the alfredo sauce and toss to coat.
