Food Should Taste Good makes some of the best chips I have ever tried! Made with real ingredients, zero trans fats and no cholesterol, their gluten-free and Kosher chips come in two different varieties, Tortilla and Kettle Cooked, and many delicious flavors! Some are even Vegan! Founded by Pete Lescoe, a long-time food lover and industry worker, Food Should Taste Good was created with one goal in mind: to create snacks that not only taste great but are made with high quality, real (non-bioengineered: Non-GMO) ingredients.
As I mentioned above, they have 2 varieties of chips:
Tortilla: includes Blue Corn, Cantina, Cheddar, Chocolate, Hatch Chile, Hemp, jalapeno, Jalapeno with Cheddar, Kettle Corn, Lime, Multigrain, Olive, Sweet Potato, The Works, Toasted Sesame and White Cheddar.
Kettle Cooked: includes Barbeque Sweet Potato, Original Sweet Potato, Salt & Pepper Sweet Potato and Salt & Vinegar Sweet Potato.
Food Should Taste Good was generous enough to send me five flavors of their chips to try.
Original Sweet Potato
They Say: Kettle cooked sweet potato chips lightly salted with Sea Salt. 25% Reduced Fat, Certified Vegan and Gluten-Free!
I Say: Deliciously sweet and salty flavored potato chip! A little bit thicker than a normal potato chip and very fresh tasting!
Barbeque Sweet Potato
They Say: Molasses and tomatoes mixed with garlic, onion and vinegar on a Kettle Cooked sweet potato chip. 25% Reduced Fat, Certified Vegan and Gluten-free!
I Say: Just like their scrumptious Original Sweet Potato chips but with an added kick of smoky-sweet barbeque flavoring.
Blue Corn
They Say: Original Multigrain Recipe, made with Flaxseed, Quinoa, Organic Blue Corn, Sesame Seed, Soy and Brown Rice. Certified Vegan and Gluten-Free! Nice and thick tortilla chip, could double as a snack cracker!
I Say: These have a wonderful tortilla chip taste and go perfect with dips and salsas!
Multigrain
They Say: Tortilla Chips made with Flax, Sunflower and Sesame Seeds, Quinoa, Soy and Brown Rice. All Natural, Certified Vegan and gluten-Free.
I Say: Delicious combination of tastes! Great with Salsa and other Dips! Has the perfect amount of saltiness, too!
Cheddar
They Say: Original Multigrain Recipe, made with all-natural Cheddar Cheese, Quinoa, Flax, Sunflower and Sesame Seeds, Soy and Brown Rice.
I Say: Just like the yummy Multigrain Tortilla Chips but with the added bonus of cheesy cheddar!
Food Should Taste Good also believes in giving back and that’s why they are committed to helping communities and important causes with their Food Should Do Good program. This year they are helping the fight against Breast Cancer by donating $150,000 to Ellen for the Cure.
I really enjoyed these chips! They make a great tasting, healthy snack with an interesting variety of flavors to choose from. Food Should Taste Good can be purchased at many online sites as well as at local health food and grocery stores. Did you know that besides chips, they also make Crackers!
