Olaf Figurine from Frozen
It’s hard to go wrong with Frozen, and this adorable 3″ Olaf action figure is just one of many Frozen character figurines you can collect! Made for ages 3 and up, by the Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Company, this figurine is priced (depending on where you look) anywhere from $2.99 up to $14.99.
Wonderland Notebook
Made by Paladone, this Wonderland-themed notebook features Alice and a set of playing cards on its durable, cotton canvas front cover. Each of its 300 pages is lined for easy writing, and is also illustrated with flying playing cards across the top to continue the theme from the front cover. It measures around 6″ tall, 1.2″ thick and 5.5″ wide. Depending on where you look, this cute notebook is priced anywhere from $8.99 to $12.00.
Cliccors *Exclusive Nerd Block Item*
Also included in this month’s Nerd Block Jr. Girls block are two packs of Cliccors, a new range of plastic construction toys by Bluw. Cliccors are exclusive to this month’s Nerd Block which means you won’t find them anywhere else as of yet. What makes Cliccors so unique is the way they fit together. Instead of just snapping rigidly together, they also feature multiple two-way articulation points. This means that even when Cliccors toys are built, they can still continue to be reshaped and reformed into new shapes and designs! So your little builder can bend, twist, click and shape Cliccors to her heart’s desire. Since this is a newer toy, and a Nerd Block Exclusive item for February, I was not able to find a price.
Imps and Monsters Coloring Book *Exclusive Nerd Block Item*
Another exclusive Nerd Block item, this 24 page coloring book is full of whimsical creatures drawn by well-known artist Justin Hillgrove. In addition to coloring pages, the book also contains a Word Search puzzle, a Seek and Find hidden object challenge, and a fun comic strip to read and color. Since this is a Nerd Block Exclusive, I was not able to find a price.
My Opinion of February’s Nerd Block, Jr. Girls
All in all I thought this box was great! First of all, each item is of a good quality, made by brands I have actually heard of and bought from before. Secondly, the items covered such a wide range of interests – from arcade games to popular movies – that chances are very good there will be at least one item your little girl will love. I also like how Nerd Block Jr. adds in one or two Exclusives, or items you won’t yet get in any other subscription box. Finally, as you can see by looking at the price of each individual item, you get way more than what the subscription cost. And who knows, some of these items could actually become collectable over the years!
