Combining her graphic design training with a background in fashion, Shari Dixon has created a line of jewelry that is not only timeless and unique, but stylish as well.

Inspired by nature, each piece contains natural elements such as pressed petals, leaves, snake skin and even starfish. These are then sealed with a high-gloss poly resin in order to preserve the form, give each piece a beautiful polished finish, and to ensure that it will last for generation after generation.

These elements then become a handmade design combined with curious and daring color choices in a multitude of natural stones, fresh water pearls and interesting fibers. The results are whimsical and extremely uniqoe designs of personal adornment.

Having a love for the gorgeous colors found in hydrangea, I was amazed at the beauty of the Hydrangea on Canary Yellow pieces in her collection! I chose a set of the Hydrangea Small Oval Drop Wire Earrings and the matching Hydrangea 16″ Adj. Large Oval Pendant on Chain – both of which quickly became my favorite pieces of jewelry.

Each earring features a perfectly formed blue hydrangea flower against a pale yellow background set inside a round, silver-colored bezel pendant and sealed with resin. Dangling from each pendant is a pretty drop-shaped crystal in the same purplish-blue hue as the flowers.  

Matching the earrings is a necklace with an adjustable silver chain. Dangling from the chain is an oval-shaped bezel pendant, inside of which are two hydrangea blooms set against the same canary yellow background as in the earrings. All together the set is unique, stylish and whimsical!
